Images, photos, and/or pictures of our activities, which may include our scouts and members of their family, are posted on our social media sites. These sites include, but are not limited to our official Facebook Page. Please know that we do not practice “tagging” in the images, photos, and/or pictures that we post to any of our social media sites and we strongly discourage the practice for privacy reasons as well as an overall general security standpoint. Every effort has been made to completely disable this feature on the social media sites that we use so that others cannot “tag” anyone in any of our images, photos, and/or pictures, however we make no guarantees, either expressly or implied. If you, as a parent or guardian would like to “opt out” of having images, photos, and/or pictures of your son or any members of your family published/posted on either of social media sites, please submit a signed and dated written request to the Troop Committee stating,

“I do not grant Troop 377 or any of the organization’s registered leaders permission to publish/post any images, photos, and/or pictures on any Troop 377 social media sites that can clearly identify my daughter or any members of my family to the general public.”

Terms and Conditions and License Agreement

Curiosity Untamed LLC (Frontier Girls) Terms and Conditions and License Agreement has been updated. Most of the changes were simply to clarify terms and conditions that were already part of the program and to provide added legal protection for Curiosity Untamed LLC for when troops and clubs decide to do risky activities. You can find the full terms and license at https://curiosityuntamed.com/terms-and-conditions/. Continued use of the program consitutes acceptance of the new Agreement so read it carefully.

In simple terms, the most important things you need to remember about using the program materials and using the Curiosity Untamed, Frontier Girls or Quest Clubs name are the following:

  1. We are not an organization you join. We just sell program materials to people and organizations running their own youth programs. If you join a troop, club, class, etc. you do so at your own risk as they are not affiliated with Curiosity Untamed LLC. Make sure to do your due diligence and know who is running the group and what protections and safety measures they have in place.
  2. Curiosity Untamed LLC does not provide insurance or training. Participation in any activity using our program materials is at your own risk.
  3. All membership subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel it which you can do at any time. If you need help, just email me at kerry@curiosityuntamed.com.
  4. You many not share usernames and passwords.
  5. If you are using the Curiosity Untamed, Frontier Girls, or Quest Clubs name for fundraising, holding community events, etc., you MUST make sure the proper disclaimers are on ALL signage, advertising, publicity etc. to show that this is a club/troop sponsored event and NOT affiliated with Curiosity Untamed LLC, Frontier Girls or Quest Clubs. Disclaimer: “Curiosity Untamed LLC, Frontier Girls, and Quest Clubs is not affiliated with this fundraiser. Fundraising efforts are to support Frontier Girls Troop 377 only and are not associated with Curiosity Untamed LLC, Frontier Girls or Quest Clubs.”
  6. Every girl particpating in a Frontier Girls troop must have their own individual or family memberhip in order to have a license to use the Frontier Girls name and uniform.
  7. You many not discuss politics or sex (sexuality, gender, pro-life/pro choice, et.) at any troop/club/class meetings. These topics are reserved for famlies and may not be discussed while using the Curiosity Untamed LLC program.
  8. No smoking, drugs, or alchol anywhere near kids or any fundraisers for groups/clubs/troops.
  9. KEEP YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS UP TO DATE ON YOUR ACCOUNT. All notices are sent via email so make sure your email is accurate and that our emails do not end up in your spam folders.

COPYRIGHTS

Materials found within the Troop 377 site may be reproduced and used locally by scouting volunteers for training, entertainment, educational, and/or program purposes consistent with the programs and regulations of the Frontier Girls LLC or other Scouting and Guiding Organizations. No material found within may be used or reproduced for electronic redistribution or for commercial or other non-scouting purposes without the express written permission of the copyright holder. Every effort is made to protect copyrights. A good faith effort has been made to comply with US Copyright Law and to adhere to the “fair use” clause of US Copyright Law. Copyrighted material contained within may not be used commercially and/or for commercial gain without permission, whether or not the copyright is noted, including any and all clipart of official insignias, logos, and patches of the Frontier Girls LLC or any other organization, which remains the property of each respective organization. All unauthorized use and reproduction of any clipart of official insignias, logos, patches and/or images/pictures displayed on this Web Site is strictly prohibited.
